These are a very compact LED globe replacement, offering 140 Lumens on tail and 300 Lumens on stop, making these suitable for smaller style stop/tail lamps. 
This globe has 50 x 1206 SMD offering a 360 degree spread of light. All LEDs light up for the tail, however with less illumination. 
Commonly used in stop/tail lamps where globe sits on a angle or where lamp has space restrictions.
