This BA9S LED globe replacement uses 5 x 5050 style SMD which offers a even 360 degree spread of light, ideal for parkers, interior lights, door lights, map lights, Dash clusters, etc.

These are polarity sensitive meaning must have positive to base centre contact and earth to side of base to work, these are polarity protected so if wired in opposite way these simply wont work till powered the correct way, it wont fail the leds
Also suits some Canbus vehicles as globe has built in canbus error cancelling technology
